A HIP is a pack of information about a house which details a number of facts about the house, including:

• An index
• An Energy Performance Certificate
• A sale Statement – detailing information of the seller and class of title
• Title details including land register entries or unregistered title
• Local search
• Water/drainage search
• Optional extras – e.g. Property information, contents form and fixtures and fittings lists etc.
